Replace charging port

GENTLY use a toothpick or equivalent to see if you can maneuver any dust bunny’s out of the port. When inserting into charging port, keep the point/tip of the toothpick against the DISPLAY SIDE of the port as charging pins are on the opposite side of this. Don’t force it…. If anything take it to the  store and let them try. Proceed at your own risk

You need to take the phone to an Apple Store or authorized Apple Service shop to let them check things out and outline your options to you.

Replacing the Charging Port:

Save a few, and start with trying a new charger. Perhaps it is the cable --and not the port?
