find my app freezing

my find-my app never works for me when i am trying to look at my airtags. when i open it and click on a device, it works fine but as soon as i click on an airtag i have, the screen freezes and i have to close it and open it again. i have tried changing the name of the airtag to see if that was the problem, and i even deleted the app and redownloaded it and it didn't work. i also erased the airtag and reconnected it and it doesn't work either. please tell me how i can fix this.

1) Close and reopen the app

2) Restart your device

3) Check for updates

4) Delete the app, then redownload it
