I successfully changed my Apple ID email and it does work fine however the new email is not reflecting under my name in device settings. Also, the new email is not showing up on my MacBook Touch ID popup when try to sign in to iCloud.com. Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If you just changed your Apple ID email address, restart your Mac to see if fresh connections help. Here's a guide with steps to restart, just in case: Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support
If that doesn't help, you may need to sign out of the services that use your Apple ID and back in with the new details. That information can be found in Step 6 of the section "How to change your Apple ID to a different email address" here: Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
6. If you use services like iCloud or Messages to share with friends and colleagues, sign in to those services with your updated Apple ID.
