Iphone cant connect to wifi home network

Started a few days ago, phone says "Unable to join the network" "This network is operating on Wi-Fi channels in use by several other nearby networks. Restarting your wireless router may allow it to automatically choose the best channel to use, and may resolve this problem."

Ive restarted the router and modem probably 10 times at this point. Called the internet people, they don't see a problem on there side and it must be a phone issue cause this is the only device that is having trouble. Called apple support, they said the diagnostics on the phone came back ok and it must be an internet problem.

Ive reset the network settings a few times, dont have a VPN, cycled location services, air plane mode. toggled the private internet under the network. IOS is 16.3.1.

The phone can connect to other networks fine. But not mine. Every other device in the house is fine. Its only this iphone that is having trouble. Other phones running Wi-Fi 6e, other devices running 5g and regular 2.4 are all ok. This is the only apple product in the house also.

Everything is ok according to the settings anyway. It not even connecting to the network at all. Not just no internet.

ISP says is a problem with the phone.

Check your WiFi Router / Modem for --> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points ...

Connecting to Wifi is the first part and then getting connected to the Internet is the second

  1. If you connect to Wifi, doesn't necessarily mean you are connected to the internet. If you are not connected to wifi could be a problem with iPhone settings or Router/Modem Settings
  2. If you are not connected to the internet is the sole issue of Router / Modem Settings. Contact your ISP immediately

For your Internet connection.

  • Over Cellular: contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider). The agency who issued the SIM to you
  • Over WiFI: Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the agency who provided the Internet Service on your Modem/Router to you
