Need help with usb-ports

Hello!

I'am infosec and i have a task to harden MacOS. I'm stuck at the stage of disabling USB ports.

During my research, I found out that it is not possible to disable the IOUSBMassStorageDriver.kext kernel module, and the only configuration profile feature, harddisk-external, has been deprecated. Everything looks like it's absolutely impossible to do now (or I'm a bad researcher, who knows ).

Due to the fact that I do not want to use third-party software, I began to look towards writing the simplest utility in swift. Please tell me what function can solve this problem, if at all possible.

No supported means, short of breaching macOS security itself, AFAIK.

Physical port lockers are cheap and sorta effective.
