How to manually upload pdf files to icloud using Montgomery Version 12.6.5

I was able to complete this task with my 2013 13 inch MacBook Pro but unable to understand the

process with my 2015 15 inch MacBook Pro. I have about 1400 files I want to push to iCloud. I prefer

to do this in small batches. I did a complete one time push of 600 files with my 2013 MacBook and

about 25 files failed to transfer.

Understanding iCloud:

iCloud Doesn’t Back Up Everything:

If it is not one of these 1,400 files, then it just is is N/A or is something that is already part of the iCloud system. So, enable all of those items in iCloud settings, and see what it uploads. If you want to backup your entire computer, create and use a Time Machine Backup.

I had that set for years. I have had an account for years but only recently embraced iCloud

thinking my Time Machine will someday crash. If I am looking at the information correctly there

are about 300 out of 1400 files in iCloud from my 2015 model MacBook Pro. I would think Apple

would have a program that would give the user a way to verify a mismatch by line item. I am also

frustrated that there is no search function on iCloud.com. I am retired and not a tech head. Any

other information will be appreciated .
