So whenever I change the password for iCloud I'm prompted to reconnect write the password multiple time with no indication what for.
At least 5+ times and it varies which apps which does this. Now podcasts seem to malfunction. Any ideas?

Some apps require Apple specific passwords.
So if you have an app requiring this then you would have to change the app specific password if you change your iCloud password.
