How to prevent charges to my Apple Card due to fraud

You can lock the physical card from the app if you suspect the card number is compromised. Click the three dots (ellipses). You will find an option for Lock Card as well as Request Replacement Card.

You can also request a new card number for the digital card. That is accessed from ellipses, card details, card information, request new card number. Within this same menu you can toggle on Advanced Fraud Protection that will periodically change the security code.
