Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  • Clean the charging port: Sometimes, dirt, dust, or debris can accumulate in the charging port, preventing a proper connection. Carefully inspect the charging port and gently clean it using a soft-bristle brush or a toothpick. Make sure the device is turned off before attempting this.
  • Restart your iPhone: A simple restart can often resolve minor software glitches.
  • Update iOS: Outdated software can sometimes cause compatibility issues. Ensure that your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for any available updates and install them if necessary.
  • Try a different power source: Connect your iPhone to a different power source, such as a different wall outlet or a USB port on your computer.
  • If not already, use an Apple-certified charger and cable. Non-certified accessories may not be fully supported, leading to error messages. If you're already using Apple-certified accessories, try using a different set to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Reset all settings: If the problem persists, you can try resetting all settings on your iPhone. This will not erase your data but will reset your settings to their default values. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings and confirm the action.
