I want to delete books I’ve already read. There is no edit option on my phone or ipad in the app
I’ve googled how to remove books but it says use the edit icon which I don’t have

Tap on the ellipsis, then tap remove.

On your iPad (I haven’t tested on an iPhone but it should be similar), open the Books app, go to Library > All and you’ll see an edit button in the upper right. Tap it, select the books to delete and tap the trash icon (bottom left.)
