How do I add multiple colored text boxes to a single cell of a table in Pages? (similar to the functionality of a calendar day in iCal)

I am making a monthly calendar in Pages using the table function and would like to be able to add multiple individual text boxes that are different colors within each cell (I'm trying to get the same functionality as a box in iCal, but I'm creating a separate calendar using Pages because I want to specifically use it for travel purposes for work and do not want to use my regular iCal calendar for this). How do I do this using a MacBook Pro? I already called Apple support (senior advisor) and they were unable to help me and referred me here. Thank you, in advance, for any help!

You cannot insert an object (e.g. Text box) inside another object (e.g. table cell) in Pages. Just use the Apple calendar whose functionality you will not be able to reproduce in Pages anyway, and save yourself a substantial amount of time and grief.
