I recently ordered two iPhones and chose my device as the trade in device for both orders. One of the devices is for my sister and one is for me. She wants to trade in her device but it shows my devices serial/imei in the trade in section. Is that an issue?

Yes, that is a significant issue. A specific device can only be traded once.
You’ll need some intervention (Apple Support?) to assist you or one of the two new iPhones will not have any trade device.
