Issues with watchOS 10

The changes made feel like someone came in and totally ignored the intuitveness of the previous version.

Timer has been changed from black to white and is really ugly now. Can I change it back?

Please allow the option of swiping left and right. Long pressing the screen to change watch faces makes no sense at all.

Swipe up with that row of cards is super annoying, and includes unnecessary things. Why would Tips need to be be #1?

Watch interaction was incredibly intuitive, and is now very annoying. With the update, my recent SE now takes longer to register a tap to active the screen.

Please help.

I get that. It feels like a lot of the changes don't offer an improvement, but were just changed for the sake of doing something different.

Some changes, such as left/right swipe to change watch face, come from Customer Support, Genius Bar visits where customers cannot figure out what is happening.

Other times it comes from the realization that specific features are being used a lot, but are difficult to get to, so they are trying make them easier to access.

And sometimes it comes from some epiphany by a developer on a different way to approach a class of features and the new approach gives room for expansion of those features in the UI.

Unfortunately, watchOS 10 seems to be full of these UI changes, and anyone used to the old way, will get annoyed because their finger memories on longer work, and A) finding out how to do it the new way is a pain, and B) training our fingers to do it automatically is time consuming.

By all means send Apple feedback

Or, they made changes because they have huge amounts of data on how people use their watches and decided to make it easier for them. It's worth keeping in mind that not everyone has the same prefences and it's just possible you're in a minority on this.

They shouldn't.

Who shouldn't what?

Radical, jarring changes that are for not but the sake of change are counter productive and discouraging. The change from 9.x to 10.x has made Apple Watch non-recommendable.

I think watchOS 10 has made certain things better. I love the fact that I no longer look down at my watch and see that the face has gotten accidentally changed. I also really like the new Weather app. The Smart Stack isn't bad and has a lot of potential.
