Refunding two year apple care purchased with a gift card from a student offer

I bought an iPad using a student offer and got a gift card. I used the gift card to purchase apple care on the iPad. The price of the iPad was 840 pounds. I returned this, and I will receive 740 pounds. I need to contact apple care to get my refund of £100 to my bank, which apple employees claim will happen. Will I receive a refund to my bank, or will they give me a refund via a gift card (not very fair if via a gift card)

If you used a gift card from a student offer to purchase AppleCare for your iPad and are now returning the iPad, you can indeed contact AppleCare to request a refund of the AppleCare purchase price. Apple employees have indicated that you should receive a refund of £100 to your bank account, as opposed to receiving it as a gift card. However, to ensure clarity and confirm the refund process, it's recommended that you directly contact AppleCare customer support. They can provide you with detailed information regarding the refund process and any specific steps you need to take to receive the refund to your bank account. This way, you can ensure that the refund is processed correctly and to your satisfaction.
