I locked a personal pages document for people to find when I am dead on my computer. The password is one only those close to me could guess with the hint, but when you select the option to enter the password, the hint does not show up. How do I make the hint visible? Is this something that is happening with anyone else?
If you enter the wrong password a couple of times the hint will appear.

The above has nothing to do with unlocking passwords on documents that you hope others will guess correctly per picas's answer but remains important just the same.
