iPhone 14 doesn’t ring with new callers

My moms iPhone 14 isn’t ringing with new callers. When my brother or I call her or her best friend call it does ring, but new callers does not. Tried all the normal fixes: do not disturb is off, no focus on, ring tone is all the way up, silence I know callers is off…. When her doctor calls her goes right to voicemail without ringing and we cannot figure out why. Help!

Why do my calls to my mom go straight to voicemail? In the last month, at some point, when I would call my mom, it would ring once and then get cut off by going straight to voicemail, my mom did not block me or has had her phone turned off, its being doing this for awhile now, every time I try to call her, she has to call me, so I text her to call me, and I get the notification that I am getting a call and I answer, so I can still talk on the phone with her and text her but I literally cannot call her from my phone and I don't know why and looking my problem up on the internet has not been helpful, its just annoying, I have tried deleting her contact and just calling her number and I have also restarted my phone serveral times and checked my settings to see if it was set to send to voicemail, I just dont know what else to do. iPhone Contact not receiving my calls/texts Suddenly when calling my mom it goes straight to voicemail but doesn’t do this for anyone else calling her. When texting her, it’s green and says sent as text message but she cannot see the text on her end. It sends as blue at first, then turns to green. All of her texts and calls to me go through though.

You can check that a ringtone for all calls is set-up:

Change iPhone sounds and vibrations - Apple Support

If wanted: You can set the default ringtone and assign distinctive ringtones to certain people.

Select ringtones and vibrations on iPhone - Apple Support

You may want to check that the new callers are listed in the Contacts app on the iPhone.
