On iPadOS 16 when I pressed the globe key on my smart keyboard it would bring up a list of all the keyboards I have installed, after updating to iPadOS 17 it just brings up the emoji keyboard, weird 🤔
In 'Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard' I have the 'Press 🌐 for Emoji' option turned off.

Yes pressing the globe key allows me to switch between English and French and control space also allows me to do the same, it’s just 3rd party keyboards that don’t show. The only way to access my 3rd party keyboards is to show the onscreen keyboard and use the globe key.

Try removing Grammerly and Paste, restart, and add them again.
Add an Apple keyboard like French or Spanish and see of Globe works with that.
It's possible the 3rd party stuff needs further updating to work right with ios 17.

Do you have an iPad running iPadOS 17 with a hardware keyboard and 3rd party keyboards installed, if you do can you test it’s working for you please?

No, it still only brings up the emoji keyboard
What other keyboards do you have on the list in settings > general > keyboard > keyboards?
My hardware keyboard is not from Apple and has no globe key, so unfortunately I can’t test this myself. Control Space switches apple keyboards but not a 3rd party one.
Thanks, so do you think it’s a bug? control space should switch to a 3rd party one, if I’m right control space acts the same as the globe key.

Can you switch to a 3rd party keyboard using the indicator at the bottom of the screen?
Just got off the phone with tech support. The way to deal with this is control-cmd-space, which brings up the emoji keyboard for a single character. It’s not ideal, but it does work.
