order status very complicating

I have order a new iphone 15 pro. after opening up the Apple app I noticed that delivery delayed and also there is a return order made with a return number automstically, that I did not create. then there is another notice that a REPLACEMENT iphone 15 pro shipped to me. What is that replacement ?? is it a NEW iphone or.....what is going on?
