I bought the Mophie charging vent mount with magsafe for my iphone 15 pro max, but it doesn't hold it up at all. I need the adjustable arm and it's as tight as it will go on both ends of it but is still easily moved, so obviously my iphone just flops down. I know it's kind of heavy, but it is listed as compatible with the 15 Pro Max. Is this a faulty unit or do they just suck?

I bought this mount last month and it doesn’t work with my iPhone 13 Pro. The mount is secure in the vent and the phone sticks to it for a few seconds but once I’m driving it falls off. The mount is not magnetic enough. I shall be asking for my money back.
I had the same issue as I just bought mine a couple days ago. However, I didn’t have a case on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. After some research, I found a site that states it is recommended to have a mag safe compatible case on your phone for the mount to work properly. I went to Walmart, bought a mag safe compatible case, put the case on my iPhone and voila, the mag safe mount works without any issues.
