I currently have two AirPort extremes not connected as a network extension with the main unit connected to my upstairs modem. I would like to improve my coverage and would like to know if a Wi-Fi 6 extender would be compatible with my existing network.
don't believe apples airports ever supported extending by anything but other airports
have 2 extreme and 2 express in my setup
found another brand but it would not extend only connect to and then I could use it's ethernet port to get my old tv on the network
