so you’re saying if I have a new ultra 2 that was purchased from apple after January 18 and apple reverses its stance on using the oxygen sensor Apple can turn the function back on later via an update? It’s not lose completely?
So if I have a Hermes 6 I have nothing to worry about with future updates. Correct. Pls advise. Thx.

it would seem logical, since hardwarewise it's the same model they sell in canada and mexico where the ban is not a thing.
I’m sending in my series 6 watch for replacement due to battery age. Will the new one still have the o2 sensor enabled?
Unsure. I know with a series 8 it would be a no. And I suspect that any series would be the same. But I don’t want to assume.
Just take your watch to the Apple Store and have them put in a new battery. Thats what I’m going to do on my 6 Hermès’ once it gets to 80%. $100.

Still working on my series 6 44mm running 10.5
