Apple MapKit is probably used in those apps, as integration is fairly easy compared to third party solutions, and it doesn’t require an extra license in most cases. So, the same map data as the Apple Maps app.

Dates of the maps differ by location, as there needs to be a new local survey for new map data. Apple sources map data from several third party map makers, including OpenStreetMap. The content updates might be maximized by iOS version, so an iOS 17 map may have map updates that are not present on an iOS 16 device.
