There is a bug in Find My app, "Home" location keeps moving

Hi, I have problem with Find My app.


Sitation is this. I live next to the kindergarden. One tag is with my kid. Other tag is in my backpack at home. I didn't get notification that I left behind AirTag in kindergarden. I open Find My to check why, and I see this. Home location has moved to the kindergarden position, and is showing that BOTH AirTags are there.


This is a bug. Home position has moved by itself. In Maps app, it is showing correctly.

I think ‘Home’ on a Find My map is an approximation by behavioral patterns and triangulation from cell towers by nearby Apple cellular devices. It thinks it can deduce approximately where the home is, but that is not your actual fixed home location with precision to meters/yards. Generally, it won’t know if you are visiting your neighbors.

Use it best for separation of 1 km/mile or more.
