As long as the dented corners do not interfere with the Display Assembly completely closing, then there isn't much to be done for functionality. If the dented corners impede the Display Assembly from closing completely, you could have the lid pop open when the laptop is sleeping or in a travel bag, or it could possibly cause the glass or LCD to crack.
Keep in mind AC+ coverage is a bit tricky. If both the corners of the Display Assembly and the corners of the Palmrest are both dented and you want them replaced, then you will need to pay separate fees for each. According to the AC+ documentation, the Display fee is $99 US while the Palmrest fee would be considered "Other accidental damage" for an additional $299 US for a total of $398 US. The AC+ documentation is not very clear on this pricing structure although if you are aware of it, then you can see the documentation can be interpreted this way. Part of the problem is with Apple's terminology within the AC+ documentation since the "external enclosure" part mentioned in "screen damage or external enclosure" section both mean the laptop's Display Assembly. "Screen" is of course the glass & LCD panel while "external enclosure" is referencing the Rear Aluminum Display Housing on the back of the Display or screen.
The "Other" accidental coverage for $299 US refers to everything within the base of the laptop located beneath the Keyboard & Trackpad including the Palmrest area & Bottom Case.
I have personal experience on how AC+ accidental damage coverage works since I've had to deal with Apple regarding it while supporting my organization's Macs.
