No "Bin" showing on Gmail

Running Sonoma 14.2.1 on my Mac Pro. Since updating to Sonoma there isn't a "Bin" in Gmail, how can I get this facility back as I cannot see any deleted emails please?

My deleted emails don't go to my Mail Bin and can't retrieve them. I have just updated my old Mac desktop to a Mac Mini running Ventura. I used the migration assistant and all seems to have gone well, except this small niggle with the Mail application: When I delete an email it doesn't go to the folder marked 'Bin' in my mail sidebar. I created a Smart Mailbox for a particularly important group of mails but found it appeared to duplicate them as they now showed in both the Smart and regular Inbox. So I deleted the ones in the Inbox only to find they had now disappeared from the Smart mailbox also. Trouble is nothing I delete goes to the location marked 'Bin' in my Mail sidebar and I can't find any other 'Bin' to see where they have gone. Please help!

Mac Mail is acting weird I use Mac Mail version 16.0 to download my gmail. I have my mailbox folders sorted alphabetically. Recently one of my mailbox folders will drop down to the bottom of my mailbox list and none of the emails stored in that mailbox folder will appear. This is the only mailbox folder that does this. I suspect there is some function I triggered on or off associated with this mailbox only.

Big Sur - Mail - Where is my common bin ? I have a mix of iCloud and Gmail accounts running and the new layout is absolutely rubbish - there is still the "On My Mac" bin but even if I point my Gmail towards it, it still creates it's own bin under "On My Mac" - I used to be able to have a common bin to empty everything in the Catalina version. Is there a solution, or way to roll back the Mail program to the prior version ?
