Open new desktop adjacent to current desktop

There should be an option to have new full screen windows open adjacent to the current desktop instead of added to the end of mission control. It would be nice just to slide over one desktop to see the newly opened page/file, instead of manually opening mission control and finding the new window.

Mission Control: Set fullscreen apps to remain in their original desktop? When I go Fullscreen, a new Desktop is created in a different place relative to the Desktop from which it originated. In other words, if I have four desktops, for example, and I click Fullscreen on an application in desktop two, I'm now in a new desktop at the end of the list. So, when I swipe left expecting to see desktop one, I see desktop four. Is there some setting to keep Fullscreen in the same Desktop? It's annoying when you want to swipe back and forth between spaces and going fullscreen changes up the order

Mission control keyboard command - move window between desktops? I'd like to be able to move a window from one desktop to another with a keyboard shortcut in Mission Control. At the moment you can only drag a window using the mouse (or, worse, trackpad). You can move windows between displays using keyboard; why not between desktops? Saving Full Screen Window Position Is there a way to save the position of a full screen window. I have 4 desktops and 2 full screen apps - Mail and Safari. I would like Desktop 1, 2, 3, 4 followed by Mail and Safari. I've re-arranged them several times only to find that they re-position themselves randomly after some time.
