HOMEKIT Sending spouse invite to HomeKit and joining problems!

The resolution to this problem is most likely your spouses phone is not paired with the Apple TV box or the Home Pod! The spouses phone must be paired to one of them or invitation will not be accepted! Just put spouses phone in the Bluetooth pairing mode and hold it next to the Apple TV box for pairing , then send the invite!
