After migration, even though I have internet connection I am not able to get internet

I migrated over last night using my old mac as a target drive. Everything is on my new mac including my own internet connection, however it keeps telling me there was an error connecting to the apple ID server. All my other computers and wifi devices in the house are including the old mac are working very well.

Launch a browser and enter this easy to remember all-numeric IP address:

1.1.1.1 and press return.

If in a Hotel or trying to access public Wi-Fi, you get the local network login page, enter your credentials and proceed.

If you get the CloudFlare** splash page, your internet is working, but DNS lookup may not be working.

**CloudFlare is NOT part of the solution, they just own the easiest to remember all-numeric IP Address.
