pls I MAC PRO keeps going black even when ther is powe i will have to close and open the system sometimes shutdown and open it again sometimes the apple sign does not show it will just make the sound of starting

it draws a draws a gray screen, then over the next five minutes, adds an icon for each drive it discovers that may be bootable. Hold Option at startup to invoke.
if the screen stays dark, that is likely a Hardware issue.
