how to get command and c back to cut and paste
So I have assigned command & C to read aloud highlighted text but I know realise that I want this to be assigned to copy text. Have no idea how to revert it back to how it was before. Using a Mac.

It's probably Keyboard Shortcuts.
Use macOS keyboard shortcuts - Apple Support
You can always Restore Defaults.
using the same way you used to create that shortcut, remove that shortcut.
