Stuck on "Complete your Apple Account"

Just like the person here; Stuck on "Complete Your Apple ID" - Apple Community

I'm stuck on completing my Apple account. No clue why.

I want to download something from the Appstore, but am unable, because at first I get the message Fine, no problem, I click review.

Alle the information here is prefilled, with the correct information. No red fields, so it seems no error there. Except for the error message at the top. The reference URL does not exist. Nor do I understand why I'm redirect towards iTunes?!

I would appreciate all the help I can get. As I'm now unable to download any app, or purchase anything via this account.

Maybe relevant information; I can login with this account on icloud.com and my macbook is also registered with this account. No problems there.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.5

I had this exact same issue when trying to create a new Apple ID, got on the phone with Apple Support, and here's how we resolved it using my iPhone.

First, I signed out of the old account on my phone:

On the iPhone, go to Settings -> your name (at the top of Settings) -> Media & Purchases -> Sign Out

Next, I signed into the new account on my iPhone:

Media & Purchases -> Not you?

After completing the sign-in steps, I navigated to the iOS App Store and attempted to download the first free app I saw (Roblox, but it doesn't matter). I had to accept the terms and conditions, then enter card and billing address info. After entering the info, I hit submit, the info saved, and the download started. Stop the download (unless you want Roblox, I guess).

I signed out of that account in Settings, then back into my original account. Back to the Mac Mini:

Open the App Store, click Sign In, enter credentials, and you should be good to go! It's a shame that this bug exists and requires a second Apple device to resolve, but I hope this solution helps until Apple addresses it.
