I made a purchase of tickets through Southwest Airlines for $1,165 with the Apple Card and the transaction appeared recorded on Sunday and today the transaction does not appear recorded. What is the reason?

That’s how airline tickets worked when purchased with a credit card directly through the airline. If you purchase from a travel agency, the transaction is what you’re expecting. I travel a fair amount but used to travel a lot and this is how all airlines work. Your credit card will be charged usually 48 to 24 hours before the scheduled departure. The initial charge is just to test the credit limit and available credit.
