Connecting Mac Studio to Cinema Display

I have an older 27 inch Cinema Display 2550 by 1440. I love my monitor and it is in great shape. It has the triple connection cord in the back one in the USB and thunder bold 2 plus another that I do not know the name. The apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter did not work. Is there another way to make it work?

Mac Studio, macOS 14.4

There seem to be several USB-C (male) to Mini DisplayPort (female) adapters out there.

I believe you'll need to hook up the USB "head" of the hydra cable to your Mac Studio if you want to be able to (a) control the brightness of the LED Cinema Display, or (b) use its downstream USB 2.0 ports.

you need a much simpler solution, because that particular disply with triple lead-in cord (the third is a MagSafe to run you older MacBook) is a Mini DisplayPort display. it does not work because the Apple Thunderbolt-3 <-> Thunderbolt-2 adapter supports ONLY genuine Thunderbolt devices, and no others.

USB-C from modern Mac to Mini-DisplayPort is what is required. [Full size] DisplayPort to [Mini] DisplayPort is a 'just wires' adapter, if needed.
