Why does my apple pay all sudden not work online but works sending money in imessages ?

I have been using Apple Pay ever since it came out. Never had an issue before, then all of a sudden today I see the two cards I have on file say invalid and all this stuff. I ended up removing them and adding it back, and it’s still being declined when trying to do stuff online with it. Restarted the phone and made sure everything iOS was updated. But it will let me send money through Apple Cash in iMessages to a friend. So obviously the card is good, I have no idea why all of a sudden it’s been like this.

So are you saying you’re seeing something that says you’re Apple Cash is invalid? Are these cards in your Wallet app? The banks control the cards when they are in your Wallet. Where does the invalid appear?

my Apple Pay wouldn’t work either. I went to look and they had somehow entered in my work address and was using that instead of my home address. I would have never put my work address in with my credit card so I am not sure how that happened. you may just need to find out if they changed the addresses in your wallet.
