iMac cannot connect to internet after Sequoia Update

I have a Mac and installed Sequoia 15 yesterday. My Sequoia OS will not connect to internet. Two browsers and other apps say no internet connection, even though System Settings say I am connected. There is nothing wrong with my WiFi, since I can print from Sequoia using WiFi, and my Windows virtual machine under Parallels can do everything (print, browse, etc.). I rebooted numerous times, tried turning WiFi on and off, deleted the WiFi network and re-added, tried iphone hotspot and ethernet, deleted the network services and readded them, trashed Eset and disabled Apple Firewall. I also tried reinstalling Sequoia. Please help!

Hello ,

Was facing the same issue & tried all troubleshooting steps including reinstalling of OS

Finally deleted the Little Snitch application VPN connection list

System settings -> Network ->

” below WiFi delete all VPN even though it’s off “ Erase VPN

Now everything worked normally

I'm also facing this issue. Issue doesn't happen only at the start. Unfortunately, my mac would disconnect randomly, while I'm working. To recover my wifi connectivity, I'm required to restart my mac. My mac is always very close to and infront of my wifi router. While my mac is having issues connecting to wifi, my iphone connectivity remains stable and works well.

I had a horrible day and you give me the solution, my ESET showed a notificación “it isn’t compatible with sequoia OS” but I am not realize that it was the problem with not access to internet.

the solution is “system settings/Network/Filters” select ESET filter and at the bottom click in the “-“ to remove them.. and done !!!

I was connected to the wifi already, but cannot browse nor connect to internet.

Best way is this:

System Settings > Network > Wifi.

Delete the Wifi, by right-clicking it and choose 'Delete Service'.

Restart PC

Then go back to System Settings > Network

In Other Services tab, click the icon with three dots '...', Choose Add Service, and Wifi.

This will reset all your connections, try to find again your Wifi Name in: System Settings > Wi-Fi

Then just connect back if you know your wifi password. Just do this in case you did everything, ie Terminal, DNS reset, etc...

I had a similar problem.

i attempted all of the above with no success.

my case was that the OS was displaying that the WiFi was connected successfully but all browsers were saying I had no internet connection.

What worked for me was turning off the “Private Wi-Fi address”.

In System Settings go to Network.

On the Wifi block got to details.

In the you will see the block for Private Wi-Fi address. Turn it off.

This is not an end all solution if you prefer this security. But will give you an insight into the problem.

In my case it’s the Access Control on my router only allowing specific Mac Addresses to connect to the network and this setting was changing the address.

I hope that helps someone.

Same problem here. But I don’t have any ESET installed neither Little snitch.

i have tried to use terminal and check what is blocking incoming connections and it’s says com.apple.controlcenter.

have no idea how to fix it.

by the way! My telegram and WhatsApp are working on laptop and I can still chat and upload images/audio/video/make calla
