iPhone battery draining after iOS 18 Update

same...my iPhone 15 draining very fast especially when i have data mobile...i have install it from the very first day...waiting a couple of days if improves or waiting for 18.1... but for now my battery remains with 100% and 44 cycles since june the month that i bought the iPhone...

It's the same scenario but with the iPhone 13 mini this time. Should we downgrade the system to stable version 17 or wait for the patch that solves the problem with battery drainage, especially for slightly older devices for which AI doesn't work and only poses a real strain?

I purchased my iPhone 16 pro on Friday. Battery is draining super fast, around 1% every 2 minutes of just general texting! Run diagnostics with apple support who say there is not issue. iOS 18 wanted to update again even though I am already on ios 18. Someone mentioned waiting a few days to see if it ‘learns how I use my phone’ and see if it improves. I replaced this phone due to poor battery on my 14 pro max and I’m seriously unimpressed.

Mine is also draining rapidly, I updated to iOS 18 and now my battery doesn’t last that long. It took like 1% of my battery life. My phone was at 70% when I woke up (around 9:30am) but it just turned 10am like 20 minutes ago and now it’s at 50?? Hopefully they fix this issue soon.

I watch my battery drop from 89% to 83% over 30 minutes of just looking at the settings of the phone. Also had to put the phone down about 15 or more times as the phone is getting hot.

just for the record this is a new iPhone pro on most current iOS 18.

After updating to ios 18 my iphone 15 pro battery is draining very fast and have to charge like 3 times a day. And even just after the update restart the battery health reduced from 100 to 90 ..mine is just 6month old phone ..@Apple team please fix this immediately

Yep, I have a 12 Pro Max, since iOS 18 I too have notice significant battery drain.

I don't use my phone that often and I'm not a heavy camera, Youtuber, TicTok or X user.

No dont iOS 18.01 or 18.02 will correct yet another Apple SW error.

I have a dramatic battery drain after updating to ios18 too, this on iPhone SE and iPad. The iPhone SE empties itself totally not being used in less than a day (!) and the iPad looses 20% just sitting here with cover closed. For some OS that brings only few new functionality this is understandable. This already happened in the past but obviously Apple did not learn from it.

I have been using iPhone 12 since the day of its release. before updating my device to iPhone 12, I had neither issue with the battery draining too quickly nor my device heated and saw heating warning on my screen. 2 days into updating my device to iOS 18, I am facing the heating warning and my iPhone is not charging more than 30%

Me too, before update ios18 my battery health was 98% then suddenly became 96% but after one day using ios18 became 95%. I can charge my phone 2/3 times for 1 day!! Before i just charge for 1 day!! Ios18 draining my iphone 15 so fast!

I have same issue of drain battery health after ios 18 update my charge cycle is 240 and battery health 100 when i update my phone.but after update its drop by 1% every 4 charge cycle and its now 96% on 259 charge cycle.

I have an iPhone 13 pro max, 89% battery health, I was an idiot to update to IOS18. Now the charger is already a necessary accessory when leaving the house or office. I suggest Apple less social progressiveness in promotional materials and more in technology and customer care.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro and after updating to iOS 18, the Health of my battery went from 100% To 94% and my battery is draining by 11 AM when it used to last until about 6 PM. Apple needs to fix this immediately!!!

I should’ve read these comments before updating to ios 18. Today I updated and my battery health reduced from 100% to 99%. Mine is brand new iphone 15 pro and have followed every guidelines apple provided to maintain battery health. I should’ve waited for next update

I am also facing the same issue as after the recent update, my iPhone battery was draining so fast that I went to the customer support office thinking if my iPhone battery needs to get replaced but came to known that it is due to the update.
