Music Error in iOS 18 (HomePod)

I updated all my devices to iOS 18 (iPhone, Apple TV, HomePods OG). Since the update music playing on my HomePods sometimes cuts off before the end of the song. Also sometimes the audio equaliser sounds very wrong (metallic, low volume) and recovers at some point in the song or on one of the next songs.


There’s no issue with my Music subscription and everything worked very good before the update. I also tried restarting the HomePods, but this doesn’t help.

This leads me to think something went wrong with this update as that’s basically all that’s changed!
