Apple Cash Fraudulent Charges

Yesterday I was notified of 13 fraudulent withdrawals from my Apple Cash balance. They stopped when the funds were depleted. I quickly requested a new card number but the attempts (declined) kept coming through. Is there any other way to stop these from coming through? I spoke with an Apple Cash customer service person and they said I need to call back a few days later to dispute the charges as they are still pending. And they said the only way to stop the charges from coming through is to not keep a balance. This doesn't seem like a great solution.

If you mean the OMNY transit network, be aware that they don't always post a charge immediately after you use the service. They offer weekly caps and reduced fares that depend on how often you use the network which can only be determined after the week has ended. At that time you will start to see the fares be posted to your card.
