I was sent a verification code while adding adding a card to Apple Pay. But the code disappeared before I got a good look at it. There is no “resend code” option.

Verification codes are either texted or emailed. The other option is to receive a phone call with a recorded message. Those are the only means the bank uses to distribute codes.

In that case, restart the process further back. Perhaps you need to start the whole process of adding that card over again.
Great, I’m glad to hear you were able to resolve the issue. If your text isn’t working that’s a cellular issue. Please contact your provider to start troubleshooting the Text issue.
