Apple wallet saying incorrect billing address for all cards

Nothing has changed, but suddenly when trying to pay using any of my cards in apple wallet (phone / MAC) it says the billing address is incorrect. Nothing has changed, I haven't moved, address hasn't changed, same old cards, but suddenly none of them work.

The only way I can now pay is through PayPal. I have checked in all the places addresses are stored (Apple ID, wallet, on my Mac) and they are all the correct address (no typos) and haven't changed.

I'm stumped!

Please help as I can't buy anything!

Please check these three places where the address may need editing. It could be a phone number issue as well. Check and see if a 1 is present. Some fields may be sensitive to too many numbers.

OK, check these three locations please;

Each card also has an address associated with the account. Please follow this path;

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > tap card to edit > tap Billing address > tap edit (upper right corner of screen) edit necessary changes

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > Shipping Address (edit or delete address

iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Transaction Defaults (scroll down) > Shipping Address > Edit (upper right corner of screen) > either Enter New Shipping Address, add new address or edit/delete addresses
