For about 2 months, I haven't been able to use my metro TAP card. I have sufficient funds and apple pay works fine at other places (e.g., restaurants or retail stores). I haven't changed any settings and it was working perfectly find before. Now every time I go to pay the fee, it keeps saying the TAP card terminal says "try again" with each attempt. I want to know if anyone knows what's going on?

What is a Metro TAP card?
Metro is a transportation company/system and TAP card is how one pays for the ride. I use it for the public transportation in my city.
Please follow this path,
iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > scroll down > Express Transit Card > what is selected and what are your options?
