Can i use international giftcards to buy hardware from apple.in

Hey! Im a freelancer from india, i wanted to know if a customer that resides in USA buys me a visa giftcard issued in the usa, can i use that visa card to purchase hardware from apple's indian website.

it does say this in the FAQ i read but im asking this just to be sure:

"Apple.com only accepts payments from cards issued in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Apple can only deliver within the same country you’re ordering from."
