AirPods Pro 2 Hearing Test fails with "Unable to classify due to background noise" error.

Tried hearing test over 30 times. Sometimes in quiet car parked in my garage. Background noise is not the issue even though message reads Unable to Classify because of background noise at some time during the test. I wish when the message better described what the issue is. After trying unsuccessfully so many times, I wanted to see if I could get the test to complete. So, ignoring the sounds the test produced, I clicked the test on each new circle (about every 2 seconds) and was able to complete successfully with about 20 clicks on both left and right ear. It said I had good hearing with no hearing loss. However, I have worn hearing aids for years and have moderate hearing loss as detected by two different providers. Apple, I realize this feature is new and expect some issues but please own up to it and tell us when we can expect a fix. Was otp with support for an hour yesterday and finally they sent me to local store to consult genius. They tried my airpods on their phone where it had successfully completed earlier in the day with different airpods and mine didn't work for them either. Genius sent me home with new airpods and told me good luck and there should be a fix soon. Still haven't heard of one.

Same issue, I get through the left ear but always get the same "Unable to classify" error upon right ear completion after several attempts. I couldn't be in a quieter space. I also have moderate hearing loss with hearing aids. I bought these AirPods a week ago specifically for this feature, so far very disappointed.

Hearing test Apple Airport Pro 2 fails with message: Unable to Classify At some point during the test, there was enough background noise that your level of hearing loss cannot be classified accurately.

It worked the first time I used the app and after that never again (ca. 15 times in absolutely quiet environments). Do I have to return my new AirPods Pro 2 or will there be a software fix?
