Why is my Apple Watch not notifying me of heart rate zones?

I’ve been using the Workout app on my Apple Watch for outdoor running, alternating between recovery, easy, tempo, and long runs throughout the week. For each type of run, I’ve created custom outdoor running workouts with specific time goals and heart rate targets. Previously, the watch would vibrate if my heart rate fell below or exceeded these targets, and the primary workout view would clearly indicate whether I was within my target heart rate (green) or outside of it (red).

However, starting Tuesday, November 7, 2024, the Workout app has stopped notifying me about out-of-range heart rates. It inaccurately displays that my heart rate is within the target range, even when it is not, during the workout view. Interestingly, when I check the Fitness app on my iPhone, the estimated time in each heart zone appears to be correct.

I recently updated to watchOS 11.1, but I’m unsure if this issue began before or after the update. Has anyone else experienced similar problems, or does anyone have suggestions for troubleshooting this issue? Thank you!
