Google Drive has taken over my Documents folder!

I did a clean reinstall of MacOS Monterey on my 2016 MacBook Pro. I then installed Google Drive and I think I selected my Documents folder as a location for offline files to be stored. This is because my Documents folder icon is now a cloud sign with a line through it, rather than a document-like icon.

Being bit OCD this upsets me. So I've deleted Drive and set it back up again so the files are only in the My Drive folder. But the icon hasn't changed. And I can't replace it with anything else, unlike all the other folders.

Has Google Drive taken over my documents folder? Is there a way to get it back? 😂
