I'm syncing my photos with finder between my mac, ipad and iPhone. All have the latest OS. (18.1 sequoia)
Mostly works OK but one album doesn't. Mac M2MBA count = 684, Ipad mini 6 = 642, iPhone 15 = 567). Deleted and resyncd multiple times. From what I can see the missing phones on the ipad were originally all iphone photos (from 14, 11 and 12 mini).
Got no idea why that is happening?????

Do you have iCloud turned on with any of your devices? Syncing with cable and using iCloud are incompatible.
Thanks but iCloud turned off. Never used iCloud to sync photos.
