Keeping photo sort order with iCloud for PC

I am using the iCloud for PC App to view my photos on iCloud. I want to always view the photos sorted by descending date. But for some reason when I open up the iCloud photos they are sorted by name. I can sort them again by descending date, but the sort process is quite time consuming, given I have 5000+ photos on iCloud. Is there some way to "lock" the sort order, so that the photos always show in order of descending date, and I do not have to resort them?
