Apple Watch Series 10 “Always On” is not always on.

I have a Series 10 Titanium on

watchOS 11.1 purchased on 11/03/2024 and love this watch!

In the settings l have enabled “Always On” and it works great for a couple of hours then the watch face will blackout. I access the watch by pressing the crown but it will once again go blackout. This occurs most of the day. Battery life is currently at 82%.

Is there something else I need to adjust besides just enabling Always On in Display & Brightness settings?
