If I make a purchase for a new device, and also trade in an old one; if I pay in full on an apple credit card, is the credit applied back to the card in the form of a lower balance for the month? I've seen other threads where people mention the credit is applied back to the original payment method, I just wanted to make sure.

If you trade in a device the credit is applied to the balance and if financing with Apple Card Monthly Installments (ACMI)it will lower your monthly payments, but it will still run the full 24 months.
