So I was playing HOI4 (a pretty demanding game)

Thanks for pointing out. I felt like living under the rock. Yeah. Apple battery optimization is at the point we no longer have to worry about charging 100% or using it plugged it all the time.
Don’t bother trying to micromanage your battery. MacOS manages it for you. If you’re near power, plug in. If not, run in battery. Simple.
Leaving the computer plugged in will not damage the computer or the battery.
